My Covid Story

Day -1 [ 22-04-2021 ]

Mom and Dad got Vaccinated with covishield 1st dose.

 

Day 0 [ 23-04-2021 ] – The Day when I might get in contact with Coronavirus.

My mom started feeling unwell due to the vaccine so I went to the vaccination center to get the tablet as they told us that they will give a tablet if anyone feels unwell, they were supposed to give Paracetamol tablet, I didn't get any tablet there were no any doctors at that time then I went to a medical store to ask for that tablet they told me that they are not allowed to give tablet without prescription then I came back to home, my father somehow arranged the tablet, that day I went to the medical store without Mask I just used My hanker chip as Mask although before these I went to many public places that time I was wearing my N-95 Mask but at that time I was forgotten my Mask, I am not sure that I got Covid-19 at that time or not.

 

Day 1-2 [ 24-04-2021 & 25-04-2021] – The Day when started showing Symptoms

In the morning I started feeling unwell, I had a mild fever and also I was feeling sleepy on that morning, so slept for like 5-6 hours My Mom got worried so she asked me to eat something then I had my lunch then she given me Crocin, I took crocin to get relief from fever crocin did it's the job the fever lasted for 2 days. In these 2 days, I had a fever and extreme sleepiness. I took 2 Crocins tablets in those 2 days.

 

Day 3 [ 26-04-2021] – My First Visit to Doctor

In the morning I felt that I had recovered from the fever, but I felt that I had a mild cough So before getting things out of control I reached out to the doctor and told them about my cough they gave me some tablets and advised if cough persists go for Covid test, on that day I had a mild cough

 

Day 4-5-6-7 [27/28/29/30 – 04-2021]

After 5 days of medication on cough, I felt somewhat good but still, I had a mild cough and also my father started feeling unwell and have a mild fever, and the worst thing I had lost my sense of smell that time I was a little bit frightened because I was showing clear symptoms of Covid and also I was suffering from fatigue i.e Extreme desire to sleep, I used to sleep for 15-18 hours a day. These days only good news was my oxygen level was 98.

Day 8 [1- 05- 2021] – My Covid Test [RT PCR]

In the afternoon when I noticed that fatigue, fever, and cough are the Basic symptoms of Covid-19, I and my father took our can and reached out to the covid care center Ajara to test me and my father we gave Swab for RT PCR test on 1st May that day my oxygen level was 88 then they tested again then it was 92 they asked me to make a run I went like 50 meters and came back then my oxygen level was 98 my father scored 96 oxygen level in the first attempt

After coming home, we were clear that we may have Covid as I was unable to sense the smell and also had many of Sympotoms and also my father started showing symptoms.

So we took advice from a doctor who is a friend of my father they given us a prescription of some antibiotics and a cough syrup

We took those tablets for the whole family i.e. 4 of us which includes

a.       Cap. Doxcy L1 Forte

b.       Tab Montair LC

c.       Tab Nicip Plus

d.       Syp. TURQ DS

Day 9 [2- 05- 2021]

We continued the Medicines.

Day 10 [3- 05- 2021] – I got Covid Positive

My symptoms were mild cough &no sense of smell, my father and mother were fine but my sister was suffering from no sense of smell

On the same day in the evening, the police Patil of our village called my father and told them that our report is positive we are frightened a little bit but I and my father was confident enough that things will be better soon

On the same day our house sealed completely we were advised not to go outside everything will be supplied to us

On the same day, we got permission to get all the things which can be useless with time like eggs and all from our store, and seal everything there too, we had a small grocery store here.

I and my father were fine so we went in our car we took all the goods which can be affected by mouse, to home now we had more than enough life resources so we didn't need to go anywhere

On the same night one of our family friends, when he got to know about our report he came to our home, he told us even if I get covid then also it is ok but doesn't hesitate to ask for anything. We were fine although we received many phone calls and advice, we were tired because of continuous phone calls from relatives and friends.

Day 11[4-05-2021] – My visit to Covid Centre

Now my mother and sister have to give swab for testing and also we were advised to take medicines from the covid center then we went with our car to the covid center where my sister and mother given their swab we went to meet doctors, we were standing outside the doctors' cabin for 2 hours because doctors were busy somewhere then we got to meet doctors but they didn’t examine us even not asked what are our symptoms just told to meet another doctor who already told us to meet the main doctor, that day I felt like I am in the bank and they were just sending us from one doctor to another for 1 time there was a loop is the doctors like doc. A send us to Doc B where we wait for 2 hours and then again doc B send us to doc C who send us to doc A and doc A gave us medicines.

I was very much disappointed with the doctors at Covid center but in the evening I started feeling well so decided to do exercise and did 100 pushups and I was happy that my stamina was the same as before I did 30 pushups consecutively and then after 20 reps 3 sets. After the exercise I felt a little bit exhausted I went to the backdoor and sat there for like 15 minutes to get pure oxygen then I started feeling very fulfilled my cough was stopped.

The Medicines we received from Covid center:

a.       Paracetamol [I guess it was paracetamol although it was not packed it was separated tablets packed in single plastic polythene my father and mine medicines were kept together, we have to separate them]

b.       A chewable capsule

c.       B complex with Zinc

d.       Azithromycin 250 Mg

These tablets were given by doctors they just handed over and didn't tell when to take medicines I asked repeatedly he just confused me Then I called my uncle who works in the same field they told us about medicines properly

Then we started taking those medicines, on the same day I started taking Steam with Easy Breathers which helped me a lot to clear my throat.

Day 12 [5-05-2021]

Today the local covid warriors with the Asha's and the Police Patil along with Gram Sevak and a guy from medical came to visit us they were very much cooperative and also they gave us information regarding the tablets we got also they given us some extra tablets which helped us a lot they also measured our oxygen level that time my mother and mine we have 98 and my father and sister have 96 Spo2 levels. Today also I did exercise with 100 pushups. And it was better than yesterday today it was very much easy and I didn't feel exhausted. I Continued to take Steam 4 to 5 times a day sometimes with an easy breather and sometimes just water vapor. I suggest to everyone who is suffering from Covid or have a Covid patient in Vicinity, just take water vapor every day 3to 4 times a day for 2-3 minutes every time, try to inhale with your nose, and swallow the vapor and then exhale with your mouth.

Day 13 [6-05-2021]

Today my mother and sister's covid report came and they also tested positive, today My symptoms are I have just a mild or somewhat no Cough my father having Cough and Body pain, sleepiness and no sense of smell, mother having a mild cold, and sister having mild cough, in these all days our oxygen levels are at normal and we all are home quarantined today also I taken water vapors and I did some exercise, I did some pushups and Cardio. I think the water Vapor helped a lot and proper time to time medications, and good diet, I ate 2 -3 eggs regularly and also taken full meals every time.  

Day 14 [7-05-2021]

Today we all were fine I had No cough or anything I had started smell sense from last 3 days, my mother was fine she just had lost sense of smell, my sister was fine she also had started smell sense. Just my father has some cough and no mood of eating, which I had observed in my first 4 days, my father had all the symptoms of first 4 days of covid.

Day 15 [8-05-2021]

 Today just father had some symptoms like no mood of eating, and cough and we 3 i.e. my mother and sister and me we are completely fine and healthy & My oxygen level is 98😄.
